Lake is already no wake due to rain, and it looks like the midwest is supposed to get rocked again today. Who else has the no wake blues?

I'm right with you. This could get old real fast. Guess it just means more time to party on the pontoon.

We'll take some of that rain. We have a lake scheduled to close already. Lowest rain fall on record in Cali.

For sure. It was a good time. Didn't get to ride that much but there was plenty of beer.

The lake is still looking pretty high and this weather isn't going to help. The river looked like its down a bit though. We'll see.

I heard that you were out there. How was it? Heard it was quiet without a band.

yea I was out last week, I saw Nikki up at the bar, said whats up. You're right, it was real quiet w/o a band, and with no wake, it was just dead anyways. Hopefully they can get that damn thing drained soon...you gonna go out this weekend at all, wake or no wake?

wowww, that looks rough nick...

Nick, to me that would be good because you have a 60% chance of it not storming, and the lake will be calm before and after, with less people.

We just had severe flash flooding yesterday, and we were taking boats back that had slipped off their lifts in between runs. None of the boat owners even know about our good deed though.

At least you guys are getting rain. Here in GA we are still in a serious drought situation. I ride on Lake Lanier and it is down 13.5 feet right now when it should be at full pool elevation. The corp says that they expect it to drop another foot by July 4 and probably at least 3-9 feet over the summer. This sucks. Maybe the developers can build some more cookie cutter subdivisions and strip malls so that we can just go ahead and empty the lake. I may eventually move to Colorado where at least I could snowboard regularly.

What is rain? We dont' see much of that in CA anymore. Like J-Rod said, we are officially in a drought. Our Governator declared it yesterday

Brandon- Where are you in Iowa? in Cedar Falls it doesn't exactly rain every day, but sunny days are rare. East Lake in George Wyth State Park is so full its starting to come onto the parking lot- no vehicles even allowed in there. What a great start to summer!

Dan, Im an hour ten minutes south of you in Grinnell, we ride at Holiday Lake in Brooklyn and Ponderosa in Montezuma though. No wake flags on both lakes, docks are under and it has poured every morning this week for an hour or so.
God Bless the Winch!

Feast or famine! Drought here in CFL - our lake has been down for a while so been ridin on the river. fires poppin up all over. dry land under da dock...uggh.

this is a similair set-up to last year where SE Texas was getting pounded with rain from a persistent flow off the gulf...except it's colliding with the jetstream further north this year. chitty for FL = no rain and no hurricane swells.

hoping this weather pattern changes and gives the SE the moisture and the midwest the dry air....

Send us some rain !!!! The Chain Of Lakes here are now just 14 separate lakes the canals are almost completely dry.
I hate to say it but we need a Hurricane to pull us out or at least a very wet Tropical Depression.
