Replacing old tower with illusion tower on a bu?

I have a freind thats looking to get an 04 malibu, it has the regular tower. Is it possible to replace that tower with an illusion tower. And where would you find an illusion tower.

There was a thread about getting and illusion tower earlier on this board. I think it is like 3K to get one from Malibu. Sometimes they are on ebay. I would just suggest finding a malibu that has an illusion tower already

I believe it can be installed no problem. I have one with the bases and all hardware for sale if your friend is interested, it just needs to be powder coated.

Heres a thread where a guy did install an Illusion on a non-tower boat. So the main difference is he never had any old tower holes to patch.
