too much binding?

just bought some 05 transit LEs...i hit all 6 proshops in town and tried on every binding available and decided to give these a shot. i rode them for the first time yesterday and have decided that the footbed may be a little too cushy...it allows my foot to roll from side to side even though the binding is super tight (size L for my fat, flat size 11 feet). also it seems that all of this cush maximizes edge delay, making the board/binding less repsonsive...

i have been riding since 95, and for the past 4 years i have been wearing ultra sucs...i just keep going back to them...

any thoughts on weather or not the foot bed will settle and give me a little more stability?

I was riding ultras for the last 2 1/2 years and just got some '05 Transits and I think they're way more responsive.

I noticed my front foot moving around some in my sphynx's on landings. i just tighten the bottom lace a little more and its cool. are you using a bunch of soap or lube to get in them?

if i use lube, it is minimal...otherwise i just get in them dry...it just seems like the footbed isnt all too stable. they do have those "helium" air soles, which reminds me a lot of nike air soles...and if you talk to any avid runner, they claim that while they have a lot of cushion, they lack stability and the ability to guide your foot through its natural range of motion...i kind of feel the same thing with the transits...
