Does anyone have any experience with repairing Gel Coat. I installed a pair of speakers over the weekend and when drilling the holes the gel coat chipped further than the hole itself. Probably about half the size of a dime per hole. Once the speaker went on you could not see the chips. Should I be worried about possible spidders developing later as a result of these chips or should I take the approach that if you don't see it then no harm. Now that the holes have been drilled, can these chips easily be fixed with the common gel coat repair kit availabe at most marine stores?
