anyone gotten theirs yet? Last update I had from KickerFilms said it was delayed until 9/8 but I still haven't gotten mine.

kicker delayed until the 21st.

these delays are insane, it was supposed to be shipped on the 3rd and its now the 18th and no one knows whats going on still. whos producing the dvd? maybe they'll know lol

I contacted kickerfilms asking about it and here is the response they sent me....

"The DVD has not been released yet. After the premiere, the producer had minor changes to make that have further delayed the release. We are hoping to see it any day but there have been so many delays, we can't even set a relative date anymore - as the past 5+ dates provided from the producer have come and gone. It's a huge headache & we apologize for the delays but we are hoping it is released any day."

That was Tuesday I recieved that.

Well let me tell you friends it is well worth the wait! The film is sick! Ive never seen anything close to the turnout at the hardrock live for a wake premier.. it was truely epic.. Sweet after party as well... There having more premiers around the us if ya wanna check it before its out on DVD

here is an update I received.

"We were just told that they forgot the barcode on the DVD box. So they're having to sticker the packaging, which has added several days to an already way late DVD. I'm sorry it's taking this long. We're now hoping to see it early next week. It will ship the day it's released. Thanks for your patience!"

What can you do, it happens. I'm just psyched to get it :-)

According to their website today, it was added to their "catalog" on the 15th, and there is no DELAY notice anywhere on the description page anymore. Could this really be the beginning of the Parks Documentary getting to the public??!!! Stoked and can't wait!

A whole week later and still nothing. And they are in San Luis Abispo I believe? That's like two days at the most. They said it was in stock when I ordered it. I doubt I will ever use this company again only for the fact that they have given NO communication. At least give me some BS email why you have my money but I don't have my movie!

I just got off the phone with Video Action Sports (they have exclusivity for the first 6 month I belive). The videos are just out of duplication and are being shipped to stores this week. We have had this DVD on order for 5 months or so. Trust me we are all waiting for it, but I would be extremely surprised if somebody has it already. We have been taking pre-orders for the past couple of weeks.
If you guys dont get it give me a shout and I will get you one of our first copies.

I got this email from VAS today, looks like they shipped my shop copies yesterday.

"This is no joke!! The PARKS BONIFAY DOC. is in the warehouse and shipping as of yesterday! Sorry for the heavy delay but the wait is over!!"

by far the best wakeboard video i have seen. It was so sick.

the hard rock was so packed people were standing.

I'm deaf so was curious if this documentary have subtitle?

I normally don't care if it doesn't have on regular wakeboarding movie but this is a documentary which will be different as I would like to know his life stories.

There was no setting for subtitles and when I try to turn subtitles on when it's playing it says that subtitles are unavailable. So from what I can tell there are no subtitles. Sorry man. Maybe they can make some subtitled copies not sure how that works.

Agree. Seems like they barely scratch the surface on Parks' storied career but still a great documentary. Guys with only a few years in our sport will learn a lot about the history of wakeboarding from it. Great to see many of the legends contribute commentary.

I saw it last night... good flick... the entire family watched it with me. It is interesting watching the footage from the early contests in '96 and stuff. Two thumbs up.

finally got mine last night. i agree, best wake movie ever! i didn't realize that parks had landed a double toeside backroll. i thought chad sharpe was the first one. briscoe mentioned it in one of the interviews.
