Why do you think you don't see them that often in a lot of films?

for myself, sometimes i feel like its cheating a bit type thing. obviously its not but your kind of cheating one of your rotations when wrapping up. I have done it a few times but personally i dont think it looks as good as regular handle passes unless your name really is Randall Harris.

doing wrapped tricks is harder than most of you think. its not cheating at all. cutting into the wake with the handle wrapped is one of the hardest things to do. plus doing wrapped tricks you're able to hold that grab all the way around your first rotation, it gives the trick almost a snowboard type of look. rather than trying to rush the grab.

i dont't know josh benny greenwood and watson both have killer OA ole 5s and 7s that are sick as hell as well. don't get me wrong lymans is just as sick, but those three have them dialed.

I'm going to try and start learning some this summer, although I don't do any know because I can't not because I don't want to. Wrapped spins are sick if you lock up that grab for the whole spin ala the Vandall

I'm thinking it's more for people who aren't good enough to do them.... That's me atleast.. ;)

I love doing them, super fun aspect of the sport, plus you can hold your grab forever, feels just like snowboarding.

wrapped spins are what's up! love to do them and hold grabs for as long as you can. Snowboard style. On axis, off-axis,plus you can grab with so many different variations and poke different ways.

Joel, I could not agree more. You can really focus on the Grab and tweaking the trick out. It really allows you to focus on Style.

Wrapped indy o/a fives are one of my favorite tricks.

Some wrapped tricks aren't as tough as the handle-pass varieties, but since when has wakeboarding been all about doing the only hardest tricks you know how to do? It's about having fun, and a lot of wrapped tricks are really fun.
