I am not up on used boat prices but that seems like a great deal. I love the 210 wake, always called it the lazy mans wake cuz it just boots with no effort.

I sold my 2001 SAN in 2005 for $29k with 1200 hrs

I sold my 2003 SANTE in 2007 for $39k with 400 hrs

Remeber, you could buy a nicely equipped 2001 Super Air well under $40k in 2001.

But yea, he got a great deal.

dan you know what is funny is that i almost about a ford lightning/svt instead of the dodge. i heard the werent great for towing though because of the gear ratio. so i went with my dodge. i put an airlift air bag kit on the rear and its been great.

Alan,

The L tows like a champ. It has 3.73s. It can be thirsty, and the short wheelbase can be a drag on concrete highways (nice for backing manuverability however) - those would be my two biggest complaints about it. Generally it only tows the boat 5 miles from storage to the ramp though, and it sure is a blast to drive when not towing. We pull the boat with my wife's Explorer Sport Trac on longer trips.

The truck rides a little low in the rear with the trailer attached, but it has lowering shackles that help it ride more level when not towing. I guess I could take them off but I would rather look at adding airbags and keeping my non-trailering attitude.

I like that color scheme. I really like that color scheme (check prof pic).

Umm ... I respect and concede the great buy on hours and price I bought new. Was not needed because these boats are built for years of service and mostly owned by owners who make sure they fulfill their promise.

(Like the house too)
