I have noticed over the past year many discussions pertaining to boat manufacturing quality and services provided by the dealer. We never know what the full story is, yet we (me included) like to voice our opinion on what others should do about issues with their boat.

What are your expectations with issues like...

Brand new boat within the 1st year or within warranty period.

Gel Coat Cracks?
Gel coat bubbles?
Boat not running properly?
Electrical issues, dead batteries, etc?
Accessory issues, PerfectPass not set up properly?
or Wedge falling off?
Boat appears to be taking on water?

Etc etc etc.

My personal opinions is that alot of these issues should be taken care of at the manufacturer before delivery to dealer... and if not then... before delivery to customer... and if not then...

A full overview at the time of delivery to the customer ensuring that everything is working properly...

But as we see from many of these discussions... people are spening close to $100k for boats and still having these issues.

What are your expectations?
