So Morgan Hill might be getting this snow park around 2010 and I started thinking, why not put in a cable park too. The spot where this is going has a ton of land to fit it. I guess these are all over Europe but this is the first one I've heard of in the US. http://www.morganhillsnowflex.com/

sweet the reason that is so easy is you dont need water rights. With the lack of rainfall water rights are very hard to come by right now.

i have been researching this since i saw it and it looks like it is going to be really cool the falls do look like they can be pretty bad but hey now i can hit up the delta in the morn and then cruise down to morgan hill and get sum snowboarding in. The only problem i can see is how crowded this place is going to be and the lack of chageability there gunna have i will say hitting the same box over and over is prolly gunna get pretty boring after the first couple of trips

my mistake. i see how they are doing it and making it year round, but personally i will never go, so i would much rather see a cable park, it doesnt look very fun to ride on that stuff anyways

Snowboarding is an Olympic sport, wake is not. I don't think we realize the additional funding and support the top snow riders have gotten the past few years after all the winning of what is now one of the major events of an Olympics.

There used to be one of those here in Auckland years ago, I only went there once and we were just about the only people there on the day, I think it died not long after. It was quite some time ago but the one thing that stands out is that fake snow sucked to fall on. Now we have Snowplanet which is an indoor snow park (it does get crazy crowded for school trips and stuff) but this place looks a fair bit bigger.

I guess it would be quite a lot cheaper to build and run something like that compared to a cable park, less maintenance and lower running costs.

A-dub makes a good point, snowboarding is huge world wide, wakeboarding not so much.
