That response makes me feel like that dude on the AT&T commercials right now when the kid starts talking about "New Years Revolutions" LOL.

The author didn't mention that the crowd (led by the announcer) all signal first down as well. They also run up and down the rows/aisles high fiving each other after each play that isn't a total loss of yardage etc for the Chickens. No joke. Lynch gains 4 yards=at least four guys running up and down the aisle high fiving. It's entertaining at least.

Just trying to let the posters on this thread know how popular their teams are among Facebook followers.Actually the NFL itself was the most liked.A fact you may like Cliff. When i rechecked my research Seattle had passed Atlanta and San Diego to move into the 19th position. I guess there were a few more Band Wagon fans out there. As they usually pile on during the playoffs.

So according to Bobby the Cowboys have the largest bandwagon of which he is a proud member. I only say that because he clearly gave up on them shy of 3/4 of the season

Is anyone else surprised at the spreads for this weeks games?

Seattle minus 8
Broncos minus 9.5
Pats minus 7.5

Then theres the Panthers minus 1
Old     (cwb4me)      Join Date: Apr 2010       01-09-2014, 6:45 PM Reply
The Patriots at 7.5 is a surprise to me. I think it will be closer than that. I would guess 2.5 to 3. As for the Broncos/Chargers i would guess 3 to 5 favoring the Broncos. I can see the Panthers being favored but if Steve Smith [57%] doesn't play i would favor the 49ers.

I rewatched the 49er/Panther game on NFL network tonight. It was interesting. The 49ers dominated the 1st half but failed to score TD in the red zone. Then, without Vernon Davis in the 2nd half, the 49ers slowed down. And, in either half, the Panthers offense was not impressive.

I predict a dominant win for KAP/CRAB/DAVIS/BOLDIN/GORE this weekend.

A interesting stat. The #1 seed has been one and done in the NFC in 4 of the last 6 Seasons.2011 Packers, 2010 Falcons, 2008 Giants and 2007 Cowboys. This is the year for the repeat.Follow the pattern 2007 Loss 2008 Loss 2009 Win 2010 Loss 2011 Loss 2012 win 2013???????

NO/SEA line stayed around -8 since last week. 68% of the public is on NO getting the points
IND/NE line stayed around -7 since last week. 57% of the public is on IND getting the points
SF/CAR lines around 0, since last week. 76% of the public is on SF
SD/DEN lines -10, since last week. 59% of the public is on SD getting the points

For me - in the playoffs - I like to take underdogs when the spread are more than a touchdown. Looks like the public is leaning the same way. It is strange that CAR is not favored by 3. I think the Denver game could easily be a last minute 3 point win

I know you all hate us Hawks fans but in all reality we're not that bad. I just saw a group of Saints fans partying with Hawks fans. That's really how we are. Here's an article written by a Niners fan for SI from earlier this year.http://m.si.com/3559828/into-the-bel...tles-12th-man/

Divisional Rounds
Saturday @ 4:35 FOX

N.O. @ SEA - I would love to pick the Saints . SO …. i will pick the Saints if it doesn't rain more than half the game. If if rains more than three quarters i believe Seattle will win. They have the edge in defense and run game. Whereas the Saints have the edge in Passing and QB experience.

Saturday Night @ 8:15 CBS

IND @ NE - I'll take the Patriots,Bill Belichek and Tom Brady with experience and game planning to win at home.

Sunday @ 1:05pm Fox

SF @ CAR - I'll take the 49ers on the road. They are a hot team on a roll and Steve Smith is a bit banged up.

Sunday @ 4:35 pm

SD @ DEN - I'll take Denver at home to win this one.Experience and playoff experience will be the difference in this one.

The hawks corners do get away with quite a bit of holding, but they are a great football team. Hard fought game. As much as I cant stand the guy, Lynch is a monster. Buffalo has got to be kicking themselves year after year. He's made for crappy weather. He might be the difference in a crappy weather SB, if they make it.

The Saints' defense played surprisingly well against a well rested hawks offense that had (earned) home field advantage. The hawks squeaked it out though. I wonder how much of an impact Harvin will have against ? next week. The Saints almost took him out of the game on his first play. Did you see his mouth piece flying??? THAT was some smash mouth football... Literally... I know there were some seriously nervous hawks fans up until the last minute of that game. Pretty exciting times now... Sunday's games will be even more exciting... Can't wait.

Neither Team Captain "Lost in the sauce" . The most points the Saints were down Early was13. The Most points the Colts were down Early was 14 . Both of those in the first half. Neither team was out of the game until Luck kept throwing the picks. He was trying to do too much. Whereas Brady was efficient. Brees was effective but his receivers kept dropping the ball. Wilson continued his mediocre play that was below average at best.

The Hawks fans will tell you they weren't worried. Think about how much better the 49ers and the Panthers defenses are than the Saints. Think about how much better the 49ers and Panthers Running games are. Think about how mobile Cam and KAP are. The Hawks fans are thinking!!!!

Seattle - 23
Saints - 15

Saints never lead the game.
Saints couldn't stop the run.
Saints couldn't catch the ball.
Saints couldn't convert on third downs.
Saints could't hit field goals.

Seattle is playing the NFC Championship game, Saints are done for the season...

Nobody who's been to Seattle buys that, especially Kap and Co. Going to be another defensive battle with both teams utilizing the run as much as possible. No blowouts here just straight up punch you in the mouth football until the bitter end. I can't wait!

San Francisco @ Seattle - I'll take the hottest team in Football. Kaepernick and the Niners win a close hard fought battle.

Get this: News flash: The Seahawks aren't allowing ticket sales to anyone with a California address. How chicken$hit can they be?!!! All this proves is how scared they are of the Niners. Bunch of pu$$ies. I'd be embarrassed to be a Seattle fan now...

All you could pick out was my Jammies?

What about the 8 foot inflatable?

What about custom shirt with a direct message to Wilson and Sherman?

What about the 30 something year old semi successful man who hasn't showered or shaved in three days in anticipation of this game?

I can't wait for next. Bring on the Hawks.

Are you aware that the ticket sales decision was made by the league and not the Hawks? Need to do a little fact checking you do...

HAha! Wow... spinning the story much? The team only made the tickets available to Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii... So to specifically call out California is lame. There are 44 states that don't get a shot at the tickets. And why? Because there are about 62,000 of us season ticket holders up here. Even if all the other seats went to Californians, 6,000 opposing fans spread around the stadium might make some noise, but likely not enough to be a big distraction. Fact is, the Saints game tickets went in less than 30 minutes... and most of them ended up on the secondary market. The team is trying to give real fans to affordably attend the game.

But hey, whatever 9er fans have to tell themselves to build their confidence.

It's a sports illustrated article that states their reason was to prevent ticket scalping (yeah right) and "prevent any niner fans from coming." talk to SI if you want to challenge that.

Sports illistrated says that the league says that Lisa's cousin said and I was like OMG... Sounds like a tweet from a sorority girl...

The article starts off saying "the Seattle Seahawks have announced they will not be selling tickets for next Sunday's NFC championship game to those with California addresses. There's ZERO mention of a league decision.

Just admit you're embarrassed of how scared your team is, and rightfully so.

I haven't researched league policy... but the SI article is only using the Seahawks own page as the source for their article... of course, they're stating that the Hawks made the announcement AFTER the carolina game... which is totally false. And any reasoning they (SI) used for the policy is pure supposition on their part.

Any "news" agency willing to write their theories as fact, while getting the actual facts wrong, is a complete joke. It's just another sports website looking to generate clicks through hyperbole.

Go Hawks.

Oh yeah. I forgot SI is the National Enquirer of sports reporting.

I don't read SI... but just going off that one article, am I wrong?

It looks like a bunch of news sources are running with the story the same way though. Many specifically saying that tickets won't be available to Californians without explaining further. Again, just trying to generate clicks. Or they're NorCal sources trying to rile up the 9er fans. And I gotta admit, even if it's shoddy reporting, what do I care if it irks a bunch of rival fans... or even guys like you who are just hating for no apparent reason. Enjoy your anger, everybody.

The ticket thing is a non-story. They'd have next to no tickets left after season ticket holders claimed theirs. What would have been left over would have been sold out within 2 minutes of going on sale. Not a big deal. Tickets are readily available through stubhub and the nfl exchange site

Totally agree. And for what it's worth, Denver is doing the same thing... so it may actually be policy.

The source of that article is the hawks' front office but, nice try. Anger? Nah. Embarrassed for the hawks? Yep. Wanna talk anger? Try going to sbnation.com and seeing the pic of the hawks's "classy" running back Lynch. He walks into a donut shop with a gangster hoodie on (hood up inside a building like a thug) and it has F... You like 8 times all down the back of it. Moron thug.

Dude... I said in an earlier post that the source was the Hawks own page. Are you actually reading or just trolling? I don't care what Marshawn wears to buy donuts and I think it's hilarious that you do. I thought we were talking football.
