K, so my spring break is next week and i am planning to do a polar bear run behind a friends outboard. Now i have heard rumors that since it is water cooled it will mess up the engine block when the 30 degree water hits it. Is this true and have you guys ever heard of this before?

Hey, if the water is 30 it's not cold it's frozen.

30 degree "water" will definitely mess up your boat

if you're in it what does 3 degrees mean? lol @ that point it might as well be 20 aside from that whole frozen thing.

It's not your boat, don't worry about it. But seriously it won't hurt anything, get at it.

won't hurt the outboard. All, well almost all fishing boats are outboards. And they go out when it COLD!!!

They will actually run better when cooler.

Gees....I stand corrected you can wakeboard when the water is 30. You have an ice breaker on that boat.
