I know lots of guys can do TSBS on-axis 540s. Like Colin Harrington, Trevor Hanson, Rusty. But has anyone ever landed a 7 like this?

I got to see Trevor Hanson do his TSBS 540 from the boat. It was nuts. I would like to see TSBS 720 over any 1080.

Fish, you sure about that? I thought that was kinda like the HS/BS 9. I don't think it's ever gone down. Trevor said he was getting pretty close on them, but isn't quite there. I wouldn't be suprised to hear about one this summer if he stays after it.

Yea, HS BS 9 and TS BS 7 are tricks that haven't been done yet. Either on axis or off axis.

Sorry to sound harsh, but thinking and knowing are two different things.... I'm pretty sure that didn't go down, but that's just my thoughts... LOL!!!

If one of those tricks had gone down, most of the people on this site would know about it within 3 minutes and there would be a thread dedicated to 'where is the video?????'.

In my dreams I did. I just wish I could land my ts Blind 180 more than 25% of the time.

The 5 looks pretty hucked, even by the stylish riders that can do them. Not sure a 7 would be too pretty. Maybe a grabbed 5 off the double up would look better.

I agree with Blabel in that b/s 5's are so hard and require so many handle passes (3) that they almost have to be hucked and most people seeing a t/s b/s 5 think they've seen a 7. That being said, I think if people focused on these trix they would go down. But, I think most people are more concerned with adding revolutions (900's, 1080's) than doing a more technical version of "just" a 7, even if that 7 may be harder than the 900 and more respected by riders in the know. My humble 2 cents.

Sounds like a couple of good pennies to me.

Yup, agreed.... Harf's OA/BS 3's off the dub are so rediculously smooth. There isn't much reason to spin further than that. IMO. The 5's tend to look pretty hucked. TS/BS is most definitely the hardest handle pass there is. Just getting to 3 looks forced for a lot of riders. A HS/BS 9 is, more or less, the same story. I think it could be done to look legit, but would be equally complicated to any 1080, IMO.

check page 98-99 of October '06 WBM to see how a t/s b/s 5 should look. smooth, un-hucked, and grabbed, that is.

Harf could stick an OFF-axix TS BS 7 and it would look like a Blind Pete

I completely agree and if you look on alliance's website there is a vid of danny someone in it he does a w2w ts/bs oa 5 and he grabs it. He manages to do it really clean and smooth. For sure someone will accomplish these spins, and make them look good. Here is the lcip i mentioned http://www.alliancewake.com/video_details.php?id=574&page=5

I'm not at home, so I can't double check my resource, but doesn't Colin Harrington do one in the end of his Relentless part? I may be wrong.

I dont think Colin does a ts bs 720 but he does do ts bs 540 off the wake and off the dub grabbed. I watched it just now on DVD and couldn't find a 7.
