I was wondering what you guys think of the 98 tige pre2200. Does it kick a nice wake? I saw that there is not a lot of love for tige boats on this forum, but I would still like to hear what you guys have to say. I am looking at boats of around 15-16k and a lot of people recommend the prostar 205, but to stay in my budget I have to get something like a 1993-94 and if I get a tige I could probably get something newer. What do you guys think I should do if I am gonna use it mostly for wakeboarding. Also, I noticed that tige boats have really long beams. What does that affect?
thanks

Couple of things, that year MC will require help to have a comparable wake with the Tige-outta the box. The Tige is newer, will not require the use of bags, pumps, and wasted time filling/unfilling of them, plus the loss of storage, etc, etc. Don't worry about any lack of love for the Tige, if that even exist? There is plenty of love for the Tige. Make sure you go V-drive, and your investment will holdout nicely. Good luck on the hunt.
