my dads gettin a new truck which means i will be getting my dads old truck in about a year so, so i need to get a system.i think im gonna get 3 kicker 12 inch L7's.i dont know what amp(s) to get and i dont kno how to wire a thing.could any one tell me how to hook it up or show me a diagram of the wiring.also, what are "ohms"?when i went online to look at subs they had 2 ohms 4 ohms bla bla bla.could some pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze explain all of this to me.

it would help me out tremendously

Alrite I'm not sound buff, just have a 12 inch cheapo subwoofer just to make the music sound better but here is what I do know from experience. You run a thick wire strait from the battery to your amplifer. Then you run a small wire from your amp to your cd players remote wire or a wire that turns on when the headunit does. Then you run the rca speaker wires from the headunit to the amp. Then use speaker wire to go from the subwoofer to the amplifier. I have no idea about the ohms stuff tho.

if you're to buy 3 of those subs maybe it would be wise to have someone else do the wiring and instalation.
