What is the easy way or best way to clean and wax the bottom of the boat? I have put it off long enough ! Thanks for any advice.

I'd say on the lift but I suppose that's out of the question.

Waxing the bottom makes the boat very slightly slower and you don't need the UV protection. Of course it does make it pretty. If you miss what's on the rails it is not a problem.

The Works works great sometimes. Depends on the minerals in your water.

Can confirm. Have used.

Ultimate gel coat cleaner is mix 1/2 toilet bowl cleaner and 1/2 hydrogen pieroxide. It will clean anything on a hull. Its pretty amazing.

I use MaryKate On&Off hull cleaner on mine... Fabulous stuff.. Wear a mask though!

To get more room to work underneath I usually jack up the tounge with a handyman jack and crib it up.

Charlie: impressive what did you attach to when lifting your boat. I can't see what's holing it up their

Greg- Overhead cranes..... They were in our warehouse when we bought it.... They come in handy for things like this!

Grant- 2 separate cranes- 10 Tons each. One 10K lifting sling through the bow eye to one crane. 2 10K slings through the rear lifting lugs to another crane. Nothing supporting the bottom, just those massive welding tables in case something were to let loose, but I think the lifting components are so overkill there's not much to worry about.

And yes, the lugs on the boat are designed to lift the boat like this....

This picture shows the straps at least..... 1 crane on each end of the boat.
