I would like to put a mirror on my 2002 SSV. We travel with our boat on the highway quite a bit so I was wondering which mirror bracket would work best without having to take it off all of the time. Post up some pictures if you have them.
Thanks,
John

I have the Monster Tower mirror arm with quick connect on my 05 moomba outback lsv and I love it. My windshield frame got all scratched up from the stock one and this one has never given me any problems.

x2 for the Monster Tower bracket. Solid as a rock and will not budge!

I can't vouch for their products but these guys have some great pricing.

The DIY mirrors will not stay put when you cross over a double up or any other roller for that matter. They look good, they are priced well, but they are not functional. The Monster Tower mirror will not budge. I've had both and the MT wins hands down.

I'll second the DIY, my brother-in-law has one and he took it off just won't stay put and shakes pretty good.

I got the Roswell one they make for SC and that thing fits like a glove and will not move!

will the monster tower bracket get the mirror above my windshield line or will the mirror be in my face? My tower arm that it would connect to is 6-8" behind the windshield line so it has to extend forward then in front.

I have the same tower and you can get it above the windshield. The only issue is that you have to have it a little lower than you would prefer so that the bimini can still open without sitting on top of the mirror. It's slightly in your face, but it's not that bad. It still beats not having to deal with the DIY mirror falling down all the time.

How bout the dbot5 arm and mirror. Quick disconnect, and very adjustable. I just picked this one up last week from the same ebay vendor.

Don't mean to hijack, but I have an 03 SSV with same tower and I'm looking for the same thing. I'm working with Ian at onlyinboards. From the selection he has, what option do you think would be best?

I like my Samson ... just got one for the
passenger side. MY Supra came with a Roswell
for the drivers side - it's also been
ROCK SOLID ...

I spoke with Scott at Samson and he set me up with a longer version of their arm. They have put lots of these arms on the rad-a-cage tower. I should receive it next week so I will post a picture and comment after I try it.
