Agreed, Nick. It may just be the most beautiful boot I've ever seen. I hear they are ultra light as well.

is it just me, or do wake boots just keep looking more and more like snowboard boots?

i'm down with them looking more and more like snowboard boots. as long as they start feeling more and more like my snow boots

Yeah they do, but snowboard boots are so comfy, and they look classy too. Therefore, the more wakeboard bindings look like snowboard boots, the classier and comfier they should be, in theory...

Ah, I'm sick of waiting, LF needs to get those puppies into shops.

I want to try on some of those limited Vantage. They look insane. Really look good with a Lyman.

Anyone know what LF's stiffest binding will be this year?

yes the uppers do... but look at the sole on the 32 lashed above..... thin, no airbags, closer to the board.

a ton of the new wake bindings look like dork boots. bad rip offs of snow and skate footwear with little technology. brands are focusing more on aesthetics rather than performance.

Josh B, the soven boot is their stiffest for 09

Honestly...All you haters get ready ;) I love the CT Shane color scheme but... my favorite boot in the line is the Melissa LTD. Closed toe Vantage basically and it looks dope:

the soles on the thirty two boots are the same material that Crocs are made out of. the benefit of snowboarding is that you have bindings underneath your boots, which (can) add more absorption. im riding bindings that have a layer of eva built into them, which dampens some of the blow.....
also, snowboard boots are suuuupper heat moldable..... i think more companies should start incorperating heat moldable liners into their bindings

the shane boot is the best of them all. and no.... crocs and thirtytwo do not have the same sole material.

crocs are made of cheap soft pvc.... really bad for the environment might i add.

soletech uses sti foam. aside from nike they are the only footwear brand that has a testing/ development lab.

check this too..... amazing.

http://stilab.com/

crocs are your feet.... sti is amazing.

heat molding liners is also not worth the time and effort. your boots are exposed to high levels of heat from the sun..... they essentially re-mold everytime they dry and sit on your tower, dock, etc.

a good liner will really only get 2 quality molds during it's life. again.... an attempt from the wake industry to worry more about features and aesthetics.... less about performance.

sorry i re-neg my statement above.... the mellissa is the best lf binding i have seen to date... minus the colorway.

skateboarding is obv... not wakeboarding... but this is still a good little clip from the discovery channel on the sti lab.

not much to do with this post... just the crocs comparison above. i would love some bindings with sti foam and system g2 gel

adam, my mistake for not being more specific
when im selling a pair of 32 boots, i tell people that just to get the point across.... it helps give that image of super light weight material that can take a beating.
