Might be tough getting any info about the X-55 with it being new and expensive. Saw one at the boat show and it looked more like a cruiser that tournament boat. I did hear you can get it without the refrigerator which would help the seating layout. Do a search on the 230 everyone has nothing but good things to say about the wake and surf wake. Best of luck getting subjective information between a Nautique and MC.

Should you be comparing the X35 to the 230???

That or the X-45. The 230 has a ton of room but isn't nearly as big at the 55. When I'm in the market for a bigger boat it's gonna be between the 230, X-45, and Malibu 247 I have a feeling.

Man those are two totally different boats, you're going to want to demo them but a more accurate demo would be a CC230 and an MC X-30, even the X-35 is a much different boat than the 230.

FWIW the X-55 wake is pretty nice and easy to clean up with the trim tab though with full ballast and 23 mph it is already clean.

For an awesome X-30 wake we usually plumb in an extra 400lbs (Fly High Kit) on each side in the rear storage locker and run with the trim down about 30%, same for an X-45.
