Ive looked high on low through Google and cant find any speaker cans that I am interested in. I have two speakers on my tower but would like to "upgrade" my cans to have a better look. I also want some new speaker covers to replace the dull grey plastic ones I have inside the boat.

Anyone have any good websites that have speaker cans?

for another hundred bucks or so you could have them powdercoated any color you want .. not a bad option

I've heard lots of things about those and none of them were good

Cheap set up for the bazookas...$250.00 with the clamps for 2 speakers.

You could build yourself a set for less than $250 from DIYWAKE.com.

Your money would be far better spent on Kicker KMT6 tower speakers. They sound great and the mounts are anodised, not chrome like those Bazooka tubes.

I've tested them against some stiff competition; Monster Double bullets and Wet Sounds Pro80's and you would never guess they were 25% the price! They weren't as good... but they were far better than you'd imagine. They blew all other sub $500 speaker systems I've tried out of the water.

Check ebay and you'll find them for around $250....

Does anyone know if the Kicker speakers are able to be painted? I wouldn't mind grabbing a set of these but I would like to have them custom painted red with some designs on them. If the housing is plastic they may be difficult to paint.

I got the bazookas theyre alright for the money but if youre serious about getting good clarity at 80 ft might wanna drop the extra coin on some better ones

If your interested I got a set of fusions that I had trouble with the chroming. I'm getting the chrome stripped next monday. You could take them and paint them if you wanted. I'd sell em pretty damn cheap if your interested.

Otherwise you could have the old anno on the kicker's stripped and then paint them.

Im not really worried about the rider having great clarity on the water. I just want it to be decent sounding and able to be heard while boarding.

You got some pics of the Fusions Tanner?

I just installed a set of polished (double) kickers from Liquid Audio.

http://www.liquidaudiosounds.com/

I got them off of ebay for +/-$400.00 to my door.

liquid trends makes some super nice ones with the option to have a light built into the front of it. the can is shaped like a hollow point bullet and they put a light in the hollow point that is mounted flush with the rim of the can. they are pretty clean.
