Duane: I did drag LF into the mix. I agree with you though, the Alphas are pretty impressive. I'd find it hard to believe that HL can top that binding at that price.

yes I found it very easy to gain speed into the wake, the board, despite the small dimensions rode esceptionally. I found no surprises with it and a very clean pop. I would edge out, gradually turn the board towards the wake, lock it in and it accelerated nicely. It was a pretty quick board for me despite 5-10 180 and I believe it was the 04. It landed better than the premier 140 I think. I found my premier did some funny things at first on the centurion wake I rode - 03 avalanche with factory ballast and a few ppl (and either I was used to it this time around or it was just the board) but the nemesis did nothing funky to my pop, a very clean smooth pop.
A sweeeet board, I would like a slightly looser larger ride if I were to buy one though. Riding that board makes me want to check out the rest of the LF line to see what/if I like anything else
Can anyone help me out here, what board is the Nemesis based off? The Evo??

shanda, how about the Evo/alpha combo for 350 on wakeside.com, that is insane and me not being in the market for a new board/bindings may have just changed pending me trying my friends evo the next time I go out

'05 Byerly's are out. Milosport in Lafayette had 3 of them. I think they only have one left. They are pretty sick looking. A little bit toned down from last year. Ready for Joe to start talking smack about 'em. He, he. Guess the new Byerly's just don't get much love.

I do believe the Nemesis is based on the Evo shape. And FINALLY the LF Evo has a tolerable graphic scheme for 2005. No more wild animals or robotic insects. That board with Alpha bindings for $350 is the best combo package out there bar none.

does anybody know if the 05 LF substance will really be that pinky purpleish colors?? I mean, the 138 is nice... but the others... oh well graphics isn't everything...

You Lenny, sorry bro I'm not a Rep. Just a believer in the product. I don't know what graphic year you are talking about that was copied from LF. Tell me what one & I'll see if I can refute... I agree about the "ease up on the copied" stance. I mean didn't they all copy Wake Tech and the twin-tip? They're all wakeboards & bindings, there are only so many ways you can re-invent the wheel. I just found it funny that the Transcend is dubbed a copy when it really rides nothing like a Parks. When someone is uneducated & spreads misinformation it's basically slander, cuz then someone reads it & takes it for truth. Perhaps the Parks is a Subjekt copy cuz it has two fins per side.

The Nemesis 131 is a lot more like the Substance than the Evo, but the 124 is very similar to the Evo. We've got the 05 Substance 138 in stock, and it's mostly white with a light blue graphic in the center.

I can see myself on a new substance cuz that board RIPS for a small board. I stomped my biggest 180 into the flats ever on that board, and its 9 cm smaller... I ride a premier 140 which I love but that board is SICK
anywho, substance line is where Im goen next year if thats how they ride
