Bend your knees and flatten the board out. You cant edge on a rail

you have to edge to the rail flatten your board ollie onto the rail relax your knee's to absorb the landing on the rail and don't jerk the handle just keep it hip level .sometimes it helps to let go with your back hand and use it to help with your balance. keep trying and wear a helmet .

Shred Ready Helmet fasho

Dude you must have been doin like 16mph... speed up to at least 20. Keep the handle as low as you can get it and center your weight over the board with your knees bent. Best advice I can give is hit a cable for a day and work on something you can ride on... cable = the best way to progress on rails.
