LE question

is there a way to save a video from LE onto my hd w/ the same quality that i burn to a dvd? like on my dvd, the file size is 957mb, i want to save that to my hd as a viewable file w/ video and sound, but i cant find a way to do it.

I would say you go to "export sequence as". Under video pick "MPEG video". Then on that same window click "options" and play with the slider that says "least,low,medium,high,best". Until you get the file size you want.
I say pick MPEG because that's what the video is converted to when you put it on DVD. You could pick others there to.

the only thing i dont like about that is that the quality isnt as good. i talked to pinnacle the other day and they told me that i could record onto another tape so it would stay in full dv quality. then when i wanted to make a copy, to just re-record it onto my computer. sounded like a good idea to me, but i think i will do that as well so it is always on my computer.
