This is the main boat dock at the marina, sandy beach and the cliffs that are usually 50ft above the water

We were supposed to go last Friday - but called to check, they told us not to come. Sad - when was the last time we had to
cancel because of TOO MUCH water in this part of the country?

(and I bought my $30 invasive species sticker just for this trip)

No doubt, it's normally all about the drought. Yeah I bought mine too. Not only is this bad while the water is up, but imagine the bugs when they finally can let it out. Checked the water site and they say they are letting out 3100 cfs and 6900cfs is coming in. These pics are form last sat, my friend said it was supposed to rise another to feet by this morning, so odds are that bathroom is under water. Funny we had our RV right in front of that exact bathroom last year.....

Yea we went up thursday night and they had big signs outside of chyenne saying that glendo was closed so we detured to Gurnsey and we barley got a spot there. They were spposed to close gurnsey also but the whole weekend we were there we hardly saw anybody. and that $30 invasive species sticker, what a joke we bought the sticker but they never checked my boat all weekend.

So what's the water level at Gurnsey like?

Holy crap! The good news is that the lake will be full all summer long, the bad news is that you can't use it! LOL! Any word on Grayrocks? We were possibly going up there for the 4th.

Here's a link that shows most of the lakes in WY and their data: http://www.usbr.gov/gp/recreation/wy...recreation.cfm

Gurnsey water level didn't seem to be a little high none of the camp sites were in the water nothing like glendo. We met a guy at Gurnsey that tried to go to grey rock but the road to get there was under water. We talked to a ranger at Gurnsey he said they are leaving the water in glendo because it is the bigger lake that can hold the water, nothing down stream can take any more water.
