So on the Wake World front page I saw the article on CC's new "green" engines. After reading it, it sounds like the same thing that Indmar has done by putting the cat converters on the 5.7. Am I mistaken? Or did they come up with something different? It is good to see companies trying to do what they can to go green for the environment. I have been out in both the MC and Malibu's that have the CAT converter and was very impressed with both. Didn't seem to loose any HP from before, actually seemed like there was more if anything. Just curious as to what really happened with CC and PCM as I didn't fully understand the press release. Here is a link to the article.

Every company wants to have a "green" image right now but a wakeboard boat company has a very long way to go.
A truely "green" building/boat/car/whatever needs to made with materials and chemicals that do little or no harm to the environment and can be recycled. Boat manufacturers are a long long way from that.
A truly Green boat would first off have to use a fuel source that is not harmful to the environment. Most likely this will be an eletric motor but is a long way away.
