Does anyone have any additional information about this?

Play Naked, Inc. introduces the "Flagman", a fully automatic ski flag for safer, simpler watersports. The Flagman has a patented spring lever arm action that brings the flag down as the skier begins, and all during his ride. The moment the ski rope handle is released, the Flagman pops back up! It is easy to install, comes in two styles and an assortment of colors to choose from.

how is that going to work? when you are at wakeboard speed just having the rope in the water can put tension on the rope. only when you stop will the tension be completely eliminated (and flag go up).

soooo does this mean that if you are in heavy boat traffic and your rider goes down and you *gasp* make a power turn and speed back to your rider that the flag will never go up because the rope is being dragged through the water with tension on it the whole time?

and yeah, another company tried an auto flag idea, but it didnt last long because it was expensive.
