I am going to help a buddy install a Monster Tower on his older MC. Anybody got any tips to help the install go smooth? We have tape, new sharp bits, and 4 guys to help.
We are going to try and keep all 4 mounts on the top deck side as I think that is best as most boats with newer towers have moved to top deck mounts,. Just not sure if the gunwale itself is wide enough for the bracket so we may have to go to the side mounts in the rear, but I am hoping it is.

its pretty simply. I made 1" x 6" wood brackets on the underside of the hull to spread out the pressure on the fibgerglass. also, when you drill, run it in reverse. it will make a cleaner hole in the glass with no chipping.
