I need a way of powering the boats stereo out of water, engine off, for say 5 hours straight some days. Currently i have 2 batteries, 1 for the engine and the other for accessories "isolated". I will have access to 120 volt power. I dont know what to use to power the amps (3 of them that take a max current of 350 amps)for these days. I would use just a battery charger but they dont provide enough amps to keep the battery charged and run the stereo. Any ideas?

power inverter/converter. mount it in your boat and put a switch on your positive leads to control the juice.

Austin,

Three choices would be a Cascade, Kinetik or Inteli-Power by progressive dynamics power supplies. E-mail us and we'll give you costs and the differences.

Austin,

I have a two battery system (small start/engine batt and LARGE sound system batt). I use a ProTech 1240i Plus. So far...it has been flawless. It is set up so that it can maintain/charge your batteries, while you are drawing off of them at the same time. It is a two or three bank charger...and can handle different size and/or different type batteries on bank to another. West Marine sells them.
