Whatever happened to the fish? Why did they discontinue it? I'm looking for a 133 if anyone has one for sale.

I'm really looking for a board that's around 18 inches wide. Does that exist anymore?

I would say the closest you would get would be a CWB Marius. Thats what I went to when the Fish was discontinued. I have a 133 if you want it. I rode it for 1 year and its in good shape.

That 133 is golden now. You can still find any other length pretty easily but the 133's are like needles in a haystack. I will never let my 133 Fish go, even though I have moved to a Groove this season.

what do you think of your groove dan?

Alice! So far I love the Groove!!! Very predictable pop and super soft landings. I love the loose forgiving feel - it is exactly what I was hoping for! Thanks again for the review!

I found the board on closeout and matched it up with a pair of 09 Shanes that I picked up for $215 on eBay! It's a sweet set up!

I love my Fish, I rode that and my Faction this year and as much as I like the FAction, I keep going back to the Fish. I have a 137, but I am 6'4" and need the length. I am interested in a Groove.

I actually have a fish 133 but my son ollied a buoy and wasted a fin. I guess that means he almost ollied it. So I'm just trying to replace it.

Was it one of the molded fins or the bolt on fins. I have a few extra bolt on fins if you need them.

Tyler, it was one of the molded fins.

Mark I had really good luck fixing a couple of my molded in fins using epoxy putty.

Dan, where do you get epoxy putty? btw, I still want another fish. I just really like and am comfortable with that design.

Mark, you can find it at hardware stores. There are lots of different brands. I used to use one called PC7 but haven't been ale to find it recently. I found something similar (don't remember the brand) at Lowes - it comes shaped like a tootsie roll, with both parts of the epoxy in the roll. You just cut off however much you need and kneed it into a putty.

If your repair is really large, you can pt a small screw into the foam of the board to give it something to grip onto.

Once dry, the material is sandable like bondo, and you can perfect the shape. I recommend hitting it with some spray paint to ensure its sealed against the water.

I have used this technique on many boards (mine and friends) and have had great success with it.

[edit] here's a link to the stuff I used to fix my fish - http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=191857-133-431348&lpage=none[/edit]
