Welcome! Antigua is a beautiful place! In answer to your question, a board bag can help protect it, as well as a board holder in the garage or boat house. Look at www.wickedwakes.com for holders. I dont think you can buy one on line yet. Email the website and they will make one for you.

the only thing that will prevent it from getting scratched is hanging it on the wall and not riding it, lol....

Heres how I think about it ... Dont intentionally try to beat the crap out of your board. I always see people run up on the dock, and toss their board out onto the dock...what do expect to happen? Just don't worry too much about it though. I use a bag to transport mine on long trips, just for the convenience, but trying to keep scratches off...not gonna happen. YOu are gonna pop the rope or something, and its gonna ream your board at some point. Just realize that its a board, not a trophy or something.

If your board is not scratched up your either not ridin hard or not ridin enough, or maybe both. My board 1 month old already scratched. I love it...
