Kansas City has a wind forecast of 15-20 mph all week. What's even worst is that it's from the south or south west which blows down our whole lake. Just got home from college and got the boat out now there is going to be great weather but so pointless to try to ride. Not happy!

It was 104 and dead calm on the delta all day yesterday.

That said.... we've been battling wind for a while before this, too. Saturday and sunday were absolutely amazing. We were lucky.

I feel you mark. I just got back from school too, new 09 recoil - still have yet to ride it, boat on the lift and it is just blown out every day.

Sucks. I saw 82 in the forecast for Wed. but crazy windy.

and it always works out where at like 9:00~ pm it dies down but our lake is no-wake after 8:00

I was going to post about the wind as well, just to see if it's local or happening elsewhere.

This spring has been terrible for wind! I hope it doesn't keep up like this. I wish it wasn't sposed to be so windy wednesday with that forecast in the 80's. Yay Wisconsin...

Here in indiana the wind has been bad enough to cause the water to white cap but there has been some days where its held off enough so we can get some rides in

Sucks but that is life in the Midwest, wind in spring and fall, good to go in the summer. You just have to find a good west shoreline to run!

Its almostalways that windy in Oklahoma. But south wind usually brings warmer temps. for you guys up north.

typical spring. June is usually a tease. Hot weather with lots of wind.

It was beautiful today, finally.
South wind (our lake lots of butter), sunny, warm, no memorial day madness yet.... and I sucked it up. I hit like 3 whole tricks, oh well, it happens.

sucks that the next nice days or the weekend with is going to be completely worthless. I need a private lake.

I hear you with the wind... sunday was near freezing and 30-40mph winds!

Nick,
think of it is as a way to warm the water faster. That wind will cause waves and move the water around, get that whole body to warm up for you! It's sad every weekend is cold/rain/wind and as soon as I go back to work it's warm!

That water should be pretty nice this weekend though, might even be able to ditch the dry suit.

Its warm enough here for trunks and heater top.

I'll take a little chill for butter, its awful again today... then it finally looks like it will be nice for the weekend but memorial = warriors

Why don't you go purify yourself in the waters of lake Minnetonka!
