Does anyone know if I can buy one of these and just swap out the fittings...maybe have to splice on the 12V plug?? seems like it would work and save $60

I am no pump expert, but, I thought those pumps come with a replacable cartridge.

There may be a fuse in the plug also.

TigeMike is right. There is a AGU fuse in the 12v plug. Unscrew the end of it to change the fuse out. Don't let the end fly out, it's spring loaded.

the fuse is fine...the spring is gone but everything is still making contact as the pump barely worked (almost put water is the sac) before it fatally quit...

the guy I talked to at fly high said if it's not the fuse, it's probably just worn out...he really wasn't that helpful...

How long have you had the pump?

i've had it for 3 years. I agree with the guy that it's probably shot...but, he still wasn't very helpful...
