how often do you wakeboard

how often do you guys wakeboard? unfortunately i can onlly wakeboard from may till about mid september then my lake drains and i feel guilt almost everyday if i dont wakeboard.

During the summer I go about every day for 2-3 hours. During school I go 3-4 times a week. During exams, not at all.

None November thru March.

Once a week (sometimes twice) from April to October. A few weekend trips mixed in as well.

Progression is definitley coorelated to time on the water. I often wonder how people that have only been riding 2-3 years are so good but then I usually find out they ride every day for 12 months out of the year.

Agree with Eubanks on that. The only way to progress really fast is to ride everyday year round. You will be surprised at how fast you lose tricks when you stop riding as much. Tricks that were dialed become sketchy.

I can only go from Mid March (Drysuit) - Early/Mid November (Drysuit)

I wish I could go more.. Actually going to factor it in when I graduate from college.

so leo im guessing u wakeboard at malibu? im planning to go to college around there, but yeah people who can wakeboard are higly lucky. i wish i could but the lake goes out.

September till May I'm in school so June till august for me. And I don't get out near enough when I can.

start sometime in march, end late october. hope for an average of one-two times out per week. mid summer, more daylight then evenings after work

May till September. Pretty long season huh? I try to get out every weekend and once in a while on the weekdays...

Yea, its a pretty good setup. I work night shift for lockheed martin. So I sleep a few hours, wakeboarding during the day, and go to work at night during the summer months. Then go to school at Texas A&M during the year.

oh...ok...but still most lakes have a dry season so if u can find one without ones then lucky

Mid May through late October 2-3-4 times a week. We start and end the season with dry suits. January through April I snowboard 2-3 times a week. Last spring I was snowboarding one day, and go wakeboarding the next day...

every other day in the summer, for about 2 hours. During the school year MAYBE once a week.

During daylight savings, twice per week. Otherwise, once per week, occassionally twice per week. All year 'round.

Let's see...

THEN - (the last 7 summers) out on the water every weekend all day long

NOW - working 7 days/week with very little time off, over the summer I got out 4 times, 2 of the times in early May when the water was still pretty cold (in Minnesota)...Not being able to wakeboard is the worst, you may as well put me out of my misery. Screw the college degree; I would rather be flipping burgers as long as I still get to wakeboard. New Job, Here I come!

1-2 times a week year around, a little windy the past couple of weeks here but the water temp last week was 59, not bad for winter time.

Well I ride in a Bayou in Louisiana. The bayou is connected to Lake Ponchatrain and the Lake is connected to the Gulf. So it doesnt get dry, but is a little brackish.

In TX, Our Lake isn't connected to any body of water and isnt used as a water source. It was man made for a power plant and is about 40 ft deep. So even when dry, it is still 30 ft deep.
