I have heard that nautique quit putting the 8.1 in the 210 to make all of their boats pass CA emission laws. I plan on moving to CA this summer and have a SAN 210 with an 8.1. Am I going to have trouble using my boat in CA?

Some lakes have banned two strokes but you should be fine.

Ryan you are fine with your 8.1L in CA.

Get used to emission related changes. From 2001-2008 there must be a 75% reduction in emissions. Now think how clean a 2000 model year car is. Lawnmowers have emissions and boats will soon enough. That also translates into better fuel economy
