Im kind of curious to see what everyone on here does for a living to be able to afford some of these amazing boats...specifically anyone in the medical field? (i.e. doctors, chiropractors, pts) bc im in chiro school right now and after paying I finish paying off massive student loans it would be a little nice to know I might be able to afford a new boat someday haha

You should more than easily be able to afford most of the boats being a Chiropractor, given you have your own practice.

I am in Real Estate. Big gains but also big losses. I am fortunate to have sold all of my investments in early 08 and cashed out. I am just coasting right now. With everything paid for I can do that. I am just planning a strategy for the next upswing.

I work for my families business. I am the third generation of our family to work there. We are a warehouse distributor for Heavy-Duty, Industrial and Marine 12V charging/starting systems. Our area of expertise is Alternators, starters, batteries and ignition. We also carry a few of the OEM gauge/sender brands, wix filters, wiper blades and a few other products. We actually carry a lot of the senders, pressure/temp switches, filters, alternators and starters that are on almost all wake boats.

I actually don't even have a boat of my own right now. I just use my dad's 83 MC or his 42 Ocean Alexander. I really like not having a 300-500 dollar a month payment.

My father envy's you! We make beer from time to time... about 60 or so gallons at a time. It's a lot of work when your working with 30 gallon drums and filling the bottles. He has always wanted to open up a brew pub. Alabama laws are jacked up about that stuff though.
