I'm running the iSimple charging cable, is75 I think, and using an iPod or an iPhone for my headunit. I've had it set up this way for a couple of years. This week I added a pair of Rev10's, a JL 750/1 and an Exile ZLD. In the process of removing my old JL line driver and cleaning up the wiring I cut the headphone jack so I replaced the iPod cable. Now I have some noise on the new cable that sounds like the radio signal from the phone (think dial up noises) and when I switch to the iPod Classic I hear a lot more noise from the drive. I've rearranged RCA cables and tried out the Aux inputs on both the HSE and the ZLD and I've run directly to the ZLD and the noise is still there. I finnaly determined that it is the power to the iPod cable that is causing it. When I remove the fuse all noise goes away.

Any ideas or people who have had similar issues using the same cable?

I use my Android phone as my "ipod" on the boat and I have the same problem when I play music off of it and charge it at the same time. I put it on airplane mode and make sure its fully charged before we go out now so I don't have to charge it while we are boating.
