i've been there twice. Pretty lake, but not my choice for wakeboarding. Full of logs, etc. The water was never calm, always windy.

Recently we went on the Columbia. That was mostly nice. About two weeks ago we wer on the Pend O'Reille River. Butter for miles and miles. Nice!

I live in Wenatchee and we usually go to Lincoln Rock State Park/Lake Entiat. It is hit & miss on chelan for wind. yesterday I watched the cam periodically throughout the day and it stayed really calm even with a packed lake full of boaters. this camera at Campbells is very nice to have to look at watch.

If you're in Chelan, check out Beebe Bridge State park on Lake Entiat. It's a 10 minute drive from Chelan and the water on Lake Entiat is usually butter until late afternoon.

Robert,

How is the log status on Lake Entiat? When we were there in late June it was an obstacle course dodging all the logs.

We were at Beebe bridge 2 weeks ago, minimal logs. Much better than Chelan. We had 12 days at the Lake, went down to the Chelan falls park every day to board. Too many jet skis, boat chop and inexperienced boaters on chelan for us.

We boat camped at Two Rivers on Roosevelt for the last couple of summers. That's where the Spokane River meets the Columbia. It's on the reservation and run by the Indians there. Really nice facility. Camp grounds with a Marina with gas, showers, laundry, and casino. There is always good water to be had regardless of wind because there are some canyons real close and it's so remote there isn't much boat traffic. It's first come first serve so it's best to get there mid week.

I forgot to mention that they have free dock space on a first come basis or there is a beach that you can anchor your boat off of. This is what we have done because it’s closer to the camping area.

jon

we houseboat on roosvelet every year. and are wanting to take our friends next year for a 2nd trip and go camping. how do you get to two rivers by road? we always launch houseboats out of keller ferry which is way down river. do you have to go through spokane to get to two rivers? send me some details and any more info you have to brucemac@gmail.com

i'm wanting to get my friends out there next year as we usually go to banks with them, but are looking to add another long weekend into the mix next season.

Whatever you do, stay away from Pateros. Huge sand bars, wind like you've never seen and gas is around $4 a gallon.

Wasn't gas $4.50 last time we were there? I won't go there ever again. Too crowded, power turners everywhere, tubers, fishermen, etc.

Entiat ain't much better, in fact I think the wind blows harder there than in Pateros.

If your all the way over by chelan... try hitting Sun Lakes... I've been there 2 years in a row for labor and memorial day weekends... great glassy water!

true, true Bruce.

The boarding I get in at Pateros or Entiat is when I'm playing Shaun Murray Wakeboarding on the X-Box. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
