Are there any updates on Nautique releasing a G21? I heard next spring, but I saw they rolled out 2014 210 and 230 models...

I heard a rumor that there's not going to be anymore rumors about this, but it could be a new rumor.

I'd love to see it to. Does anyone have an idea of cost on them? When we looked at 21014 210's a month back the sales guy told me they were going to be high 80's to low 90's with NSS. I assume the g21 will be more???

It just doesn't seem like anytime soon especially if they're releasing 2014 210 and 230 models. I want to upgrade to a new boat, but it's like what happens if I buy a 2014 210 and then they release the G21? Decisions, decisions...

They want you to buy a 210 and then trade it for the G21.

Obviously you don't want a 210. You want a g21. So if you can afford one just wait.

Rookie question... What are the primary differences between the G and the 210?

Do you know what a G23 is? Compare that to a Nautique 230. G23 flagship, 230, old flagship. Bigger, better, heavier, more ballast, deeper, insane wake.

Honestly, it will probably look very similar to the 210. The only difference really would be the deepness of the hull. I wouldn't really say more ballast since the 210 already comes with like 1,500#s...

huh..so to you traditional bow and shovel nose are "very similar"? My guess is that g21 will be like $25k higher priced then the 210, which would be like 30%. I kind of think of it like Toyota making both the Camry and the Avalon. Of course it is the Camry XLT. The 210 is a super nice Camry. Oh well someone can come up with a better analogy.

But I guess my point is that the 210 is Nautiques bottom of the line 21 foot boat. Of course a bottom of the line Nautique is pretty awesome. But if you have one, you won't have the G21. It is weird in that they both do basically the same thing (surf, board, ski). It is not like you can get the 210 and say to yourself, well I did not want to go off road anyway, or something like that. You can claim you prefer traditional bow. But come on, won't everyone know you did not want to pay for the G21.

I will simply keep my 2008 210 until I can afford a G21, or G23. Even though that is like 5 or 6 years off.

I guess what I meant was... What can the g21 do that the 210 can not? At what point do you get past bragging rights and actually need whatever the G offers above the 210?

For 90% of riders (maybe more), you never actually outgrow a 210... unless you need more room.

For what it's worth, which isn't much considering these are all rumors. I heard it's supposed to have the same stock ballast as the G23, which I believe is 2500 #s.

A 21 ft boat with 2500# of stock ballast?

G23 has 2850lbs stock. 950lbs front and each locker.

It is going to have the same amount of ballast as the G23, just 6 inches less in the bow and 18 inches less in the cabin. It is going to be offered with both the 450 and 550 (550 will be a monster). Part of the allure of having a G series boat is not having to load with extra ballast (unless you really want to) to get a solid surf and wakeboarding wake. My 210 needed extra ballast which took up cabin space, and with my girlfriend having four kids, there was no way we could all go out on the water together (with our friends and their friends), so I ended up buying a G23. Being able to touch a button and go from a world class wakeboard wake to a solid surf wake without having to move people or sacs has made the time on the water much more enjoyable, and actually we use the boat more because of that convenience. No longer is is such a big deal to surf when the wind picks up for a bit, before boarding again in the evening when it calms down. Most of our days are lasting 10-12 hours on the lake, which I really enjoy. I am sure that I could use it as a bragging right or ego (I do enjoy the attention it gets sometimes), but if you are buying the boat for the looks others give, or to try to show up other people, I believe that you have other issues, and should probably spend the $120K+ on therapy instead of a boat. If you want a boat that does everything it is advertised to do, and does it extremely well, then I would recommend a G series boat
