So this year, my father approved of me going to a wakeboard camp and my neighbor (whom I always ride with) will most likely be joining me. We will be going down to New Smyrna, FL, most likely around the 4th of July, and I was hoping I could go go to a wakeboard camp for 4-7 days minimum (hopefully a week).

What are some good camps located in Florida that I should check out to learn at? Please give any details or tips about going to a wakeboard camp that I would need to know.

Thanks for any and all help!

Brett, what are your goals for your week at camp? have fun, learn new stuff, meet new people. All should be acomplished and any good camp. If you haven't been riding much this winter expect to be a little sore and tired the first few days. Most camps carry boards to demo, try new stuff if you can. Enjoy the ride.

Sean O'brien runs an amazing camp. The only bad part is deciding to learn from the man himself or sitting back and watching him do some real progressive and explosive riding. Either way Derek Seaman keeps things light hearted and humorous. You can find them at www.orlandowake.com

LimoTinted, thanks a bunch! I read through just about all of em minus the cable parks...

After reading through O' Town Watersports and The Projects Wakeboard and Wakeskate Camp look really good!

I'd like to hear about Ride the Spot and the Wakeboard School so if anyone has any input on those I'd be very gracious!

Nevermind you guys. I found out the price of Otown is $1500 and the Projects $1400 and my dad said no even though I offered to pay for half or more...
Thanks for all your help though!

Sorry Brett, fun cost a lot more then it use to, I know the gas prices have all the camps raising their prices, they have to.

Ya, I understand... the only thing that bothers me is that my dad offered to take me to Roanoke, VA for a defensive lacrosse camp for $500... and take me there and back or whatever.

For a wake camp it would only be one way since I'd already be in Florida at the time, and it'd be $250 extra and I'd pay the rest... I don't think he realizes how much I want this since we don't have a wakeboard boat and I'd like to progress with one.
