amp for tower speakers

I've got four kicker k693 6x9 on my tower and I want to run 800 watts to them. I was thinking of getting the rockford fosgate 801s amp but its high pass crossover is only 250Hz. Is that high enough to get only mids and highs? What do you fellas use for something like this? A specific amp please

I run 4 Kicker K693 and I have them wired to a 2 ohm load probably like you do. I bought a good old Sony 2 channel amp for $100 on eBay. The speakers rock. I'm talking hear the music clearly while riding rock.

They don't sell the one I bought but this is the next generation. Save some money and don't compromise sound. Just do yourself a favor, use decent guage cable and solder all your connections! None of that high school crimping stuff. Trust me, it'll sound ridiculous.
