Just went wakeboarding and surfing behind the new X25. Best. Boat. Ever. It simply impressed me in every way. Yes I am biased but this is the best wakeboard/surf boat MC has every made.
We rode the boat completely stock and the wakeboard wake was perfect. It felt like a weighted Star. The wake was super solid, just enough lip, and gave you a really good pop. You could really fly into it and go out in the flats or take an easy approach for high wake2wake jumps. I was able to do every trick I can without any problems, where as I usually need to put extra ballast in a X2, X15, or Star.
Then we surfed it. Took a little while to dial it in with the surf tabs but once we did it was great! I was surfing, two guys in the back corner and a driver with jsut the stock ballast and I was still 10+ feet behind the platform.

We are going again on Sunday and I'll make sure to take some pictures. If anyone would like to join, let me know. We are going out on Sammamish.

So stoked!!

Considering this as my next boat. Test drive tomorrow . What was your impression of quality? The interior is a bit different from earlier models. Star or 25?

Awesome. I wonder though how big, solid and long the wake can get. This boat is built on the same hull as the CSX right? I have heard a lot of great things about the wake behind the CSX for wakeboarding and surfing, but never have heard someone describe the stock wake as feeling like a slammed star. Just curious. This boat is at the top of my list due to the extra space over my xstar, but i will always love a slammed stars wake and can't imagine any other boat being like it. I have rode behind several slammed 230's that could compare in size but not in transition and shape.

I went to 4 boat shows this year and still have never seen the X25. Can you post pics of the boat? What is the asking price of a X25 nicely equiped?

NorCal MC had one @ the Sacramento Boat Show. It was pimp, but "boat show pricing" was $85k. That was with the MCX engine, not the upgraded LY6. Ouch.

Sorry this took a while, but here is a pic from the other night of the surf wake. I'll be sure to get up some wakeboarding pics soon.
