Dude you were right on with the C-dub boots. New liners are sweet. No water need, just step right in!

I've got a pair also. They're sweet. First pair of closed toe boots that I love. Soft overlay for some flexibility. Easy in and out. Ultra light.

Looks good!

The one thing I don't understand is why they brought back the lever on the back sticking straight up. I had several people tell me they took one of those up the corn-hole from the zeus a few years ago. It doesn't look like it sticks out as much as the upward facing hinge though.

Yeah, seriously... who in the industry is beating the drum so freaking hard for closed toe boots?!

Look sweet otherwise, though...

Paul - if I am not mistaken, I believe the hinge now goes side to side, as opposed to up and down. those boots are soooooper light.

What does the hinge do in 2010 since these boots don't actually "hinge" open like past models?

^^Eubanks, the hinge when closed pushes in on your heel to put a little bit of pressure, locking your heel down and making for a very comfortable snug fit

That hinge is just a heel lock.

Paul, that lever rests nearly flush up against the boot. It stick out no more than 3/8". No way you're corn holeing yourself on that. I'm also riding a 2010 Vapor with the original upward hinge. The new lever on the old hinge also routes it in flush with this boot.

Are they going to have any high end open toe boots?
I have a skinny foot that tends to slide forward in the 08 answers I have now and stubs my toes. It seems to me that CWB boots are made more for wider feet.

^^Matthew, you may need to be riding a diff CWB boot, like the zeus, the answer is c-dubs boot made for a wider foot. the zeus is made for a skinnier foot. As far as the new dub 10 stuff goes, not too sure, although the andrew boot seemed like it was a little skinnier when i tried it on.

The Vapor is the highest end open toe boot for dub10.

The hinge moves from left to right instead of up and down. More of a heel locking "system"...

Does anyone else feel that they should offer a OT version for their higher end boots?

I've been rockin the 2010 Vapor for the last several months---they're awesome! If you're looking for a great open-toe boot, check it out. The vapor is a hinged binding with a super soft footbed, velcro straps and not as high of a wrap as the Zeus bindings. VERY comfortable with great hold down. I am very hard on bindings and these have lasted extremely well---check them out!!!
