The title pretty much says it. I came home from work the other day and the flowers out front were in bloom along with the sun break after a rainy day and this is what I came up with. I'm just wondering how to make this better. Any tips would be really helpful. Thank you, Dustin.

Plus as you can tell I don't even know how to upload the image the right way.

What do you think is wrong with it? The BG blur is good, flowers are sharp without excessive over sharpening and you didn't overexpose it (for all practical purposes, the yellows are maybe just a tad hot but OK AFAIC)

I think it looks fine.

Mexican Monarch shot with the 400 f5.6L and 65mm of extension tubes. I also dialed in -.7 EV of exposure compensation to keep from blowing out the flowers. I ended up pushing the exposure in the RAW file probably .2 EV to get to what you see here. DOF is very thin with the tubes, notice how just the eyes/antennae are in focus. I'm about 10-12' away here, any closer and the little buggers take off.
