Any new music out there for the new lake season ? Also thought it would be intresting to see which song sounds best on your boat, mine would have to be Thriller it is ususly a crowd favorite and rocks on my boat !

I thought this was a Joke, And said to myself. "I bet this guy is from TX" I looked at your profile and guess What! SO

To answer your question. No there is NO new music out there! Thriller is the only song one should ever play on your boat. Im going to ask that you turn in your Red Jacket with all the zippers For even thinking about wanting to play any other song than Thriller.

MJ is turning in his grave!

Brian: Beezo's download mix's quality is pretty good. I used to be a 320 KB or nothing guy' At the rate I go threw music, and the avalibility of High Quality good mix's I would be hitting repeat all summer on one or 2 mix's or Playing Thriller all year long. I use bezzo to try out new music via Ipod and head phones for the Gym ect. Lot's of the stuff you download takes time to grow on you or is junk Beezo is free and it gives you a chance to figure out what you like and sample all the new latest club music with out having to subject your self to coming home at 4 am smelling like smoke hung over and being caught by the retierment comunity hanging out with 20 year old's in club's.

What I do is sample lots of stuff and If I like it , I contact the DJ threw Beezo and buy a high quality download. Im checking out Beatport now. You have any suguestions for some good.

G - what i do does not take much time. I spend 10-20min a day on beatport and add a bunch of tracks to my crate. All of the clips are about 30 sec longs. If you keep up with it its a breeze and you are insured to have the newwest beats..like released that day. New tracks are relased daily and a ton of them. Im sure i go through music much faster than you as its listened to once and then hopefully used in a set - then never seen again unless i crate dig.

Beezo.net has some great mixes. The rating system is very accurate based on people liking or not liking the music/mix. DJ's to look out for on Beezo are DJ Octane, DJ Rhemi, DJ Spryte, DJ Ionik, DJ Atwill, and DJ Enrie have all had nothing but good and CLEAN (no profanity). If it's just wakeboarding music, I listen to a lot of Phoenix or Flipsyde

Checkout this mix by DJ Morningstar. Good, fun mix that will be great this summer. A little old with new mashups. Just skip the first 2 min or so and it's all good and almost an hour straight.

post links to downloads! not videos!! If you have the track on your computer, then host it somewhere where we can all download it. Like hotfile.com or soundcloud.... Let's start a list of good stuff for the summer.
I'll be back to post some in a few.

I mostly listen to rock though, lately i've been listening to Cheap Girls, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXcsD_M5VcE , you can get the whole album for free at quoteunquoteecords.com another band that is always playing on my boat is Lucero

I think suggesting a certain song, band, or genre of music to someone else is pointless, and it's sad that people feel the need to get in a pissing contest over it.
That being said no matter what kind of music anyone likes, when I look for music I'm going to play on the boat It's always something everyone will like, upbeat, and has a kickass rhythm, but is mellow enough for me to ride to for duration of the song. For example if I played: Tears Don't Fall-BFMV which is something I would listen to while driving to work, I would probably piss off the girls in the boat and I would get to aggressive while riding and end up eating alot of water, so instead I would probably choose something like"Caribou Lou-Tech N9ne" Girls are then downing beers and getting closer to naked instead of complaining, and It's still upbeat enough for me to put on the try hard pants but stay relaxed enough to focus. That's not to say rap is better than rock but Hip Hop/Rap or Dance/Techno seems to have the fluidness I look for more than Hard Rock/Metal. If I find a Rock song that has a balanced rhythm or consistent beat believe me I'll use it, but that's usually not the case for me.

As far as new music goes Pandora is going to be the best bet don't limit yourself to new music, find music that is new to you, you can wakeboard to and everyone in the boat will enjoy also. http://www.pandora.com/

^ Tonight - the herve chilli remix.

Yes, Shaun. We're familiar with pandora. Try slacker.com when your free listening runs out...

This isn't a pissing contest or even suggesting music to anyone. It's about sharing music. What you're listening to now or bands you've discovered recently. Maybe its old stuff that you're enjoying again. Whatever. post it up for others to enjoy... or listen to once and decide that band or song isn't for them....

Ran across Beezo a while back, but can't make sense of the site. It ranks DJ's so that they never change...? Can't figure it out. Great site with tons of music but felt like I was looking for a needle in a haystack. And search seemed pretty weak on it. How are you guys finding music on beezo? I found the genre categories to be really broad and often indescriptive of the track.. are you searching specific DJ's?

Beezo search tips: shell not realy . To the far right where you down load the file there is a discription of the file:
house: a mix of electro and vocal tracks: this genra can be Very hit and miss some mixes can be very tweeky.
Electro: Very Very electronic. High energy electronic music:
Club: a mix of house and hip hop with a house or dance beat: IMO this is the style most will like
Hip hop: it's hard for me to describe because I don't download these mixes.
I know everymusic has a diffrent style so there are Many diffrent versions of hip hop. Beezo seems to just have one catagory for all hip hop and like 5 diffrent styles for house style music so that may tell you that beezo is not the best sight for getting hip hop mix's

think about beezo like facebook for dj's it's a way for people to find new djs ect.
If you download a mix you like click on the dj icon on the far left. The dj's profile . There you will find all of that dj's mixes. Some dj's have like 30 mixes up and ready for download.

IMO dj mixes are the best for boating ect. You hit play and don't have to touch your I pod for 2 hrs.

Check out www.ghettohouseraido.com
they have free down loads ect , the only down side is shows are only 1 hr long and they some times have long intros to the mixes.

I agree with Joey that the Holdup CD has some good chill music with a reggae vibe to it. The new Supervillains cd is sounding like it could be a good summer cd. I think I listened to StickFigures "Smoke Stack" a lot last summer and The Aggrolites "Self Titled" although its not a great for a system but good tunes to listen to when in the sun.

Click the browse tab on top, click the DJ tab, select genre, and select what type of music you're looking for from the drop down box.

Or if you're looking for key phrases more specific type this into google, example of search for rock mash up: site:beezo.net rock mash up

Nacho, haven't visited this this thread in a bit. I will definitely check out your links. I only recently discovered dubstep. When I was younger I was a big fan of DnB and Jungle, I went to Planet of the drums a few times and other shows. I liked DJ's like AK1200, Diesel Boy, DJ Dara, DJ Baby Anne (bassqueen), but lost touch with most of that music. Then someone mentioned Dubstep to me so I checked it out, I like it a lot, it seems like a modern version of Jungle or something. Plus it's more tolerable to other listners than DnB is.
