I'm thinking about buying one, what is every ones thoughts on this board? Who has ridden one? I currently ride a Ronix One but Im not sure I like the rocker. Is there any difference in the 08 vs. the 09 besides graphics?

No change in the IBEX from 08 to 09 besides graphics. It is a really good all around board. It pops really nice and the landings are super soft. A bunch of people ride it so I am sure they will all be hear to chime in shortly. The other good thing is that you can probably get a really good deal on an 08 IBEX now since the 09 stuff is coming out. There are super good prices online. Try 4wake.com

ibex: straight up pop, throws you straight up! sluggesh carver, its a wide board, extremly forgiving for a "parks" board

What don't you like about the Rocker on the one? 3-stage might just not be your style.

I ride and Ibex and enjoy it. I think its really easy to ride. Its stable and I can carve it around no problems. It has got a fair bit of kick when it hits the wake.

But if you want something that throws you out more than straight up then take a look at the Viva. It has a more continuous rocker and may be what you're looking for.
And while you're looking at that, take a gander at the Arcade Bill.

Is the Ibex easy to take into the flats?

I personally could not take the ibex as far into the flats as I can other boards. It is more of a wake to wake board imo.

To me it all depends on the wake. I personally love going into the flats as often as I can but the Ibex will shoot you more up than out. Its pretty explosive when you hit the wake. On a big wake it works great shooting out to the flats and going large but on a smaller wake you'll be going wake to wake.

Can't go wrong with the Ibex... Great all around board. IMO, it can ride very mellow or very aggressive... It responds well to how you want to ride it.

I like the Ibex but its way better with smaller fins. I pulled the 1" p wings and went with some .7 a wings.

I agree it was hard taking it to the flats because of the rocker....and the stock fins are way to much, I just rode mine finless and it was great
