I ride with a guy who has a Skicraft Senator Wake D drive and it seems that lately every second time we go out the prop takes a hit and gets bent out of shape (4 blade brass 13x13). Probably due to the fact that there aint much water around at the moment.

If we damage the prop at the beginning of the session will riding with some vibration damage the boat in any way?

Yes. It will cause the shaft packing to wear at a faster rate and the vibration will shake you crazy.

What Lee said Times 2. The vibration can and will cause undue wear on your drive train and where your shaft goes in threw the hull as well as the packing. Sorry to hear about you hitting somthing all the time it must suck.

For to mention that it will also wear out the strut bearing.

Last time was a stick that we didn't see until too late (after we ran it over). We do take it easy when we know there are hidden dangers but on rivers the trees are pretty hard to see under water and every now and then you get one whilst dodging some guy doing a power turn.

We just seem to be having a bad run.

Come winter there may be more rain so prop will be fine but toes will be frozen.
