Lowrance Depth Finder w/ Thru hull trans in X-Star

My lowrance depth finder doesn't work very often. If it is below 6 ft deep something like 0.9ft will register. Other times at various depths it will just jump from 0.9 to 1.0ft deep. There are no adjustments to any filters or anything except an alarm that I know of. Anybody know any tricks?

I had a problem with my 00' X-Stars depth finder but it was a teleflex. The dealer ended up exchanging it for another brand. Im not sure they could tell me why it didn't work. Good luck!!

That doesn't sound good. I just can't beleive there isn't a single adjustment on them.
