I am not looking to completely automate my ballast system, just looking to take what I have and make it better. For starters, I have the Malibu Center MLS. I want to use the thru hull to fill three bags instead of one. Each bag will have a seperate drain pump so that is not an issue.

Here is the physics part, look at each diagram and tell me if either or both will work, and which one will work better. (I will have shut off valves on each line and or check valves if recommended by a physics guru). I am really looking to know will the water flow evenly in either scenario or not. Speed is not the issue, I am just trying to avoid having to throw the pumps overboard and plug them in to fill each sack in the back.
1 pump system
2 pump system

do two pumps for sure!

There was post a while a go about the Rule 2000 not really doing 2000. Apparently it was little better than a 1100. Also pumps with sperate lines will run faster!
