This is for a two battery, two amp setup with a perko switch. My new to me 2011 242 had wetsounds added before I bought it, but I noticed it was constantly draining one of my batteries. Upon further inspection the Wetsounds amp was wired straight to the B battery, see schematic "was". We went and re-did the wiring to be like the "Is" schematic.

Still a little concerned about the extra ground from battery A to the distribution block creating an open circuit? / Any other recommendations on how to skin this cat?

The amp shouldn't draw any current if it's not on, no matter whether it's wired directly to the battery or through the switch.

You would think so, but with perko switch to off, the wetsounds amp power light would fade on & off even after being off the water for 30+ minutes
