Malibu and Axis are having their National Demo Day is April 28th. Anyone planning on heading out to check out the new MXZ or for those who "waterski" check out the wake behind the TXi hull?

The MXZ is worth a look. It's a really well executed design. Lot's of space, and finally the big bow area that I always wished the LSV had.

Can't wait to get the season started with ours!!!

I know Lake Hopatcong Marine in NJ will have a 23LSV in the water and an Axis A20 along with a VLX on stand by. I hope to get a set in behind the ol 23LSV

I'll be out on Cobra's new MXZ getting some instruction and checking out the new boat. Looking forward to riding the wake. I've ridden behind 2012 23 and 247 LSV so I will post a short wake comparison.

I still have not ridden behind the new MXZ hull. Lake Hopatcong Marine had one, but a customer purchased it already. I talked to Ryan over there and they have a red metal flake MXZ on order. Hopefully I can get in a pull behind that boat before it gets sold!

Here are some pictures Ryan from LHM sent me of the MXZ they have on order. Thing looks amazing! He told me its going to have the L96 6.0L motor in it! I'll take 2 of them please

We've had the MXZ out a few times, including Air Santa last Christmas. I can see it being great somewhere it's hot all the time, or by boaters who are only out when it's nice & hot out. But it doesn't really work for me for a couple reasons....... most people don't want to sit in front of the windshield unless it's 90+ out. And I don't really like the idea of having 6 or 8 people sitting in front of me while I'm driving the boat.

Still has all the Malibu quality though & I'm sure it'll find it's niche.

Got our invite to the demo days too. I was thinkin a ride behind the supercharged 247 sounded like a good time.

I like the size of the open bow. With the way you would weigh out a malibu its nice having the big open bow. Lots of room for lots of sacks! Plus on days where youre not riding, I would imagine the ladies love sitting up in the open bow. You could fit an army of beautiful women in that bow!

My biggest surprise from this weekend was the wake behind the axis a20. For a 20 foot boat with the wedge down and stock ballast i was really impressed with the wake. I would like to see how the a20 performs with an extra 1500lbs of ballast.

The water was cold and the wind was definitely a factor during my malibu demo ride but otherwise we had a lot of fun out with Lake Hopatcong Marine.
