Drove up to Berryessa today to check on things. The lake is up about 10 feet with water pouring in. Things are looking good for spring.

Dropped my boat back off on Friday afternoon. Water looked high and brown near the bridge, which is a good thing!!! Anyone riding yet. Sunday? First weekend without rain? I'll drive

Walt- I am still thinking about it. Me and J drove up to Orwood about 3 weeks ago to check out the facilities. We were there in under 30 minutes (nice). Before I commit on moving it, I wanted to launch from there a couple of times and make sure J is comfortable driving in the sloughs. Now that I have the boat back, we will prolly head out the next weekend it is not raining M.Scott- I don't think that is accurate. I know they are taking over control of the different resorts and forcing the trailers out, but my understanding is that they are going to have one company manage all the resorts. I have never heard anything about not being able to launch/boat. Maybe Air Again can elaborate, I think he has a place up there.

Is Berryessa pouring into the toilet bowl? It's pretty cool to check out from the road side. Chris Get the Grip you Deserve www.wakejunky.com

Pnichols its called the Glory Hole,located by the dam at Berryessa The Glory hole is a non- regulated spillway, which is located about 200 feet behind the dam. The outside diameter of the Glory hole is 72 feet. The hole in the center tapers down to no less than 28 feet. The distance from the crest (top edge), to the exit point which is situated in the south side of the canyon, is about 700 feet. The crest of the Glory hole, sits 16 feet lower than the crest of the dam. When and if the water level of the lake rises to 15 1/2 feet over the top of the Glory hole (its maximum design), it will release 48,400 cubic feet per second, or in layman's terms, 362,000 gallons every 1 second ! }
